Wally played 13 years of professional baseball, including 4 years in the major leagues with the Philadelphia Phillies as a left handed relief pitcher. His career major league ERA is 3.14. During his minor league career, he played on 2 championship teams, made the Triple A All - Star team, and threw a no- hitter. He played high school ball in Southern California being named as league MVP and All - CIF. His college careeer included BYU and Glendale JC, wher he was named league MVP and All - State. Wally was inducted into the Glendale JC Sports Hall of Fame in 2004. Wally currently gives private pitching lessons and is the pitching coach for Snow Canyon High SChool.
